Printed Cards/Cartons
Printed cards or cartons provide additional retail space for you to highlight your product features and benefits. This space can be utilized for technical information to help educate the consumer, or create an impulse with the consumer as to why he/she should purchase your product.
Insert Cards
The insert card is captured within a clamshell or tray and cover set. They are most commonly printed on a coated board and provide little additional support for the package. By combining your requirements with other customers, we can print a very economical card at a fraction of the price if it was printed alone. Most of the insert cards we print are 4/0, or 4/1 in color. The cards can also be printed in metallic to imply a higher end product.
Blister Cards
The blister card provides the bill board for the features and benefits and also adds structural integrity to the package. These are most often printed on a thicker stock than an insert card, and have a coating on the printed surface that allows the card to adhere to the blister and capture the finished good. We can print you blister cards to accept both PVC and PET blisters.
Folding Cartons
The folding carton is most commonly a 6 sided box that surrounds the finished product. It provides the maximum exposure for feature benefit copy. The folding carton often allows odd shaped items to be merchandising effectively on a retail shelf, or stacked in a point of sale display. Where applicable and beneficial a clear window can be included on one or more of the sides, allowing a view to the product inside. The folding carton can also be used as a display as is shown on the Dermatone counter-top display. The lid lifts up and tucks under to become the header panel.
